8. Social Media Platform Policies

Your use of BrandBeacon to post content to social media platforms is also governed by those platforms' terms of service and privacy policies:

8A. YouTube API Services

BrandBeacon uses YouTube API Services. When you connect a YouTube channel, BrandBeacon requests scoped Google account access to read your connected channel's identity and to upload videos you have reviewed and confirmed as original content.

While a channel is connected, we store the authorization tokens needed to publish on your behalf. We fetch your channel identity live from YouTube for display instead of saving a profile copy. Disconnecting a channel in BrandBeacon removes these stored tokens, any previously cached channel identity, and your YouTube connection notices; you can also revoke BrandBeacon's access at any time in your Google Account permissions. Videos you have uploaded remain on YouTube and are managed there, subject to YouTube's own terms and policies.

For data-deletion requests related to your YouTube connection, contact us using the information in Section 12. By using the YouTube integration, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
